I can't believe I haven't posted on this blog since 2009! Since then, my family has moved to a new city! I have had to pack up our belongings and fit them into a new home! Talk about redesign! Fortunately, most of our furniture fits in quite well. It does take some time though. I am still moving some things around and adding new pieces. This is one of the aspects of my "job" that I can help others with. Sometimes it takes a new set of eyes to examine your "stuff" in a new environment and find it a new spot. It can be lots of fun!<br /><br />I will try to keep up with my blogs...I am finding lots of cool new ideas for decorating! It is sooo important to have a cooperative painter! I am trying to paint the two story "public" area of my house. I finally chose a color (very difficult client!!!). The painters came right on time with the paint. I hear one of them call me to come and look at the paint on the wall. It is very different than the sample paint that I had purchased earlier. We all agreed that it was not right. They could have continued to paint, but didn't! They are at the paint store now, trying to get the same color as the sample. I would imagine that some painters would have gone ahead and painted, not saying a word, hoping that the client didn't notice. I am so thankful! <br /><br />Lesson: It is a good idea to find a good painter who will work with you! I am trying to decide why it is so hard for me to figure out how to work with computers! I can choose furniture, fabric and wall colors, but can't figure out how to get to my blog without trying three or four different things!
